awesome piece! what i can take from it about life is no matter how hard you try to go through life clean as a whistle there will always be some point where you're going to have to get dirty, (sometimes by accident others by necessity) and when that happens you suddenly discover that there is a whole new piece of life to explore that you didn't even know was there!]

What is the focal point of the picture? Is it the ink or the figure?

both - the focal zone extends from the front inkblots to the eggshell, and it's supposed to draw you into the image as a whole, what with the curve of inkblots leading away from the egg/figure.
